We currently own a 2002 American Eagle. Have owned it for five years pretty much trouble free. Fleetwood has shown me good customer service when I have called and asked for diagrams etc. Had a 98 Mtn Air before and had no issues with it either. Both coaches gave me great service.

One other thing that came to mind, the battery bay on the vintage Eagles makes it very easy to service the batteries…pantograph door goes up, chassis batteries pivot out of the way on their separate tray and you can access the 4 6-volt batteries very easily.

Our 98 American Eagle has the 325 HP version of the mechanical Cummins C Engine. 57,000 miles now….48,000 when purchased. I use Optilube Summer Blend (live in Florida) as a hedge against lift pump issues due to ULSD. Don’t know if it helps but it is an inexpensive hedge that seems to be working so far.
