Is there 5 / 2 mode on British Gas UP2?

If the jumper is left off altogether then it will offer 5/2 mode with different timers for weekdays and weekends, but there’s little point to that as 7 day programming starts with 5/2 and is then further customised for individual days (should you wish).

What are the jumpers on a British Gas UP2 timer?

Here’s a closer look at the three jumpers: The top and bottom jumpers should be left alone. The top switches between L inked (hot water and central heating on the same timer) and I ndependent (hot water and central heating on separate timers). The bottom switches between P umped and G ravity. The switch I needed to change was the middle one.

How does British Gas UP2 turn on central heating?

1. Tuned the light green 2. The Mid Position Actuator moved to the position it should be when just the CH should be on. 3. When I turn the HW on the valve moves back to the middle and both the HW and CH come on. 4. Turning the HW off again the CH goes off again

Why is my UP2 programmer not working properly?

The programmer has recently been playing up. Our heating is coming on at correct time but going off 2 hours earlier than programmed – regardless of how high we have thermostat (and red light is still on) – We have tried using the Advance button – but that is not clicking on at all so that hasn’t worked.

Is there a dual channel programmer for BG?

Have taken a look at the ID sticker and all it says is ‘Model-DCP’ with a description of Dual Channel Programmer… This model is made solely for Bg. Unlike their old models which were rebranded Drayton. What would you like to know? Yep, BG only model. Won’t find any instructions elsewhere. Thanks both for the confirm.
