A few weeks ago we had an entire central heating system fitted with a combi boiler etc. The gas engineer disconnected the old back boiler in the fireplace and removed cylinder and tank etc. I assume this now means the back boiler is safe to be removed as ideally I would like to put it a wood burner in the fireplace.
