Can newborns sleep in Tripp Trapp?

The Tripp Trapp® Newborn Set can be used from birth up to around 6 months when your child is normally ready to begin sitting unaided. When your child can sit upright on the floor unaided, you can begin using the Tripp Trapp® chair together with the Baby Set.

Can you use Tripp Trapp tray without baby set?

It attaches to Tripp Trapp chairs without baby sets. You can use the Newborn set from birth up until about 20 lbs or until your baby can sit on their own. However, you should cease use when one of those milestones occur.

Can you use Tripp Trapp harness without carseat?

Yes! The bottom harness can be taken out. You should be able to push the two plastic parts close together and then push up and out of the slot.

Do you need Harness for Tripp Trapp?

If you’re using the Tripp Trapp Baby Set, the harness is a must. The tray alone is not designed to protect your baby from a fall – the harness provides that extra level of security for squirmy toddlers. So, yes – you do need a harness if you’re using the Stokke Tripp Trapp for a younger child.

Can you use Tripp Trapp harness without baby set?

Yes, you can’t really use the Tripp Trapp as a highchair without this set. Good-quality and solid product. You need this if you are using Tripp Trapp as a high chair. The idea behind the Table Top is that you can use it to protect the table when your baby sits up at the table with you, eating as they do, very messily.

The current ® Baby Set as well as the Newborn Set are compatible with all Tripp Trapp® chairs produced from May 2003. Chairs produced before May 2003 are not compatible with the current ® Baby Set and the Newborn Set. Earlier models of the Baby Set, with wooden rail, are unfortunately no longer available.
