NERD NOTE: Both park employees and test dummies were used to test the Cannonball Loop before it opened to the public in 1985. After multiple test dummies emerged decapitated, Action Park’s owner, Eugene Mulvihill, offered to pay employees $100 for each time they tried the new waterslide.
