You can visit all year around! Chessington World of Adventures Resort is open all year so you can enjoy ROARSOME family fun from January to December. Our main season runs from March to October, with a WILD series of events throughout the year.

What happened to Rameses Revenge at Chessington?

Rameses Revenge closed to the public on 3 November 2019 and was removed from Chessington shortly before the beginning of 2020, with a crocodile-themed drop tower ride named Croc Drop being its now existing replacement. This means that there are no more permanent HUSS Top Spins in the UK, just travelling ones.

Can you enter Chessington before 10am?

Can you get into Chessington before 10am?

Gates opened around half 9 and Dragon’s Fury was raring to go before it’s opening time of 10:00am. Good start and a fun ride .

Why do they run empty roller coasters?

Especially on shorter rides, there’s just not enough time to load another train before the original one has returned, so they’ll only run one. Another common occurrence – trains not being cleared by maintenance. At many parks, ride vehicles MUST be cleared by maintenance/facilities before guests are allowed aboard.
