How do you fix IDM Cannot find server?

Reason 1: In IDM settings is set proxy/socks server that does not work anymore or has some other problems. Solution: Open “Options→Proxy / Socks” IDM dialog (arrow 1 on the image) and select “No proxy/socks” option (arrow 2 on the image). Reason 2: IDM is not allowed to download or run in FireWall settings.

How do you solve IDM Cannot download this protected stream for legal reasons?

You cannot solve this as IDM is specifically saying it is illegal to download….

you copy un legal or expired.
the IDM not compatible with you browser ,check it from option tab and see if the IDM exist or not .
if yes remove it and re-install it.

Why my IDM is not working?

How can I configure IDM?

If you already added IDM extension into Chrome you need to configure it correctly. To do this press on Chrome menu (arrow 1 on the image), select “More tools” menu item (arrow 2 on the image) and then select “Extensions” tab (arrow 3 on the image). Then press “Details” option (arrow 4 on the image) for IDM extension.
