How do I cancel my Lumino plan?
If you want to cancel you can do so from the link in your renewal email. We need 15 days’ notice of your plan cancellation. Can I transfer my plan to another Lumino practice? Because your plan is associated exclusively to your original chosen practice, it isn’t transferable.

How much does it cost to get wisdom teeth out NZ?
At Maxcare Dental we provide treatments at an affordable cost without compromising on the quality of the treatment. To give you an indicative cost for wisdom tooth removal, it will be $250-$750 for one wisdom tooth (depending on complexity), for two wisdom teeth it would be between $400-$950.
Can I increase dental insurance?
If you’re enrolled in a health plan with dental benefits, you can change health plans only if you have a life event that qualifies you for a Special Enrollment Period. If you qualify, you can choose a new health plan with or without dental coverage.
What type of dentist does veneers?
Prosthodontists specialize in dental procedures such as porcelain veneers, crowns, dental implants, bridge repair, dentures, and reconstructive dentistry. If your dental treatment plan includes replacing or repairing teeth, your dentist may recommend you visit this type of dental specialist.

Lumino Health is Sun Life’s online digital platform that connects Canadians with local health care providers, offers health-related content and shares innovative health solutions to help Canadians live healthier lives.
Does Sunlife cover virtual visits?
Our virtual care solution: Lumino Health Virtual Care Plan members access the service through a mobile phone or tablet app, or online through a computer. The service covers acute physical and mental health consultations.
Who owns maven dental?
Maven Dental is part of Abano Healthcare Group, which is the largest Trans-Tasman dental group’s, along with sister company Lumino The Dentist.
What specialist dental services does Lumino offer?
A selection of our practices have experts offering specialist dental services, such as oral surgeons, orthodontists, prosthodontists, endodontists, periodontists and paediatric dentists. Enquire at your local Lumino practice to see if they offer the service you require.
Do I need to be a current patient to join Lumino?
No, you don’t need to be a current patient of ours to join the plan. We recommend that you book an appointment at your chosen Lumino participating practice. Your plan is associated exclusively to your chosen practice – it isn’t transferable to another Lumino practice.
