Is FutureMe free?

FutureMe is free for basic use. But we would be honored if you would consider becoming a Premium Member because FutureMe requires money and time to ensure the delivery of your letters all the way into the future.

Is FutureMe real?

Futureme.org works like a simple webmail service, but lets you specify the date when the message will arrive – be it a warning, advice, or simply a ‘Hello! ‘ from the past. The site recommends using a Gmail address or other webmail address, rather than a work one – your future self might well have changed job.

How do you use FutureMe?

How to use Future Me:

Go to futureme.org.
Type in your email address, subject and email content.
Select the date you want the email to be delivered on (must be at least one month in the future)
Click submit.

What should I write for my future self?

Tell your future self about your principles and beliefs in such areas of life as:

Family. If someone in your family made some mistake you want to avoid, tell your future self about it.
Friends. Describe your friends and why you are close to these people.
Health.
Relationships.
Career.
Spirituality.
Finance & Money.

Is Futureme private?

You can also list it as either public or private – if private, once the delivery date has arrived, only you will be able to see the letter in your account; if public, the letter can be read by others via anyone at all (email addresses are never shown).

What happens if you email yourself?

Sending emails to yourself is not an uncommon practice, and it’s not out of loneliness as some might think. As soon as you enter your own email address in the recipient box when composing a new message, the Google Inbox app will display a message offering to create an Inbox reminder instead (see image above).

How do you write a letter to your younger self?

Be kind and compassionate towards yourself! Take the time to write down kind messages to your younger self as if it is someone else. This can be a helpful action to bring into your everyday life, noting that the kinder you are to yourself, the more in tune you can be with your emotions.

How do you send an email to the future?

Delay the delivery of a single message

In the message, on the Options tab, in the More Options group, click Delay Delivery .
Click Message Options.
Under Delivery options, select the Do not deliver before check box, and then click the delivery date and time that you want.
