Are there any problems with the Onkyo tx-nr609 receiver?

Having read the good reviews on the Onkyo TX-NR609 Receiver in What HiFi I purchased the unit. For 2 years I was pleased with it until just before Christmas when there was suddenly no sound (from any source); the setup/connections were unchanged.

Looks like the hdmi board is starting to fail on this one now. Spoke to richer sounds and they will give me another loan machine.
