Can anyone go to Cambridge University library?

All members of the University of Cambridge are welcome to use the Library. Academic staff, postgraduate and research students from other universities can apply to use the Library for reference. Please note that researchers wishing to access the University Library must be aged 16 years or over.

How do I get a Cambridge library card?

You may obtain a library card by presenting a photo ID with your current local address in Massachusetts, OR a photo ID plus one document with your name and current local address printed on it. Can you visit Wren Library?

Access to the Wren Library is from the Backs via Garrett Hostel Lane or Queen’s Road and the Avenue. There is no public access to the Wren from Great Court. Generally the Wren is open to the public from Monday to Friday between 12 and 2pm, and on Saturday mornings in Full Term from 10.30am until 12.30pm.
