Can you use a third party router with AT?
You can use a third party router with your AT gateway but the receivers will not connect to the third party router, as they will only work with the AT gateway. The receivers are already connected to the switch, and they should work as long as they are still connected to the AT gateway through the switch or WAP.
Can you use your own modem and router with ATT?
AT requires you to use their gateway for their fiber service. You can disable the router portion (pass through mode) and connect a much better router to it. There is also a way to use your own modem but AT will still charge you the monthly fee regardless of what you do once you signup for the service.

Does Orbi work with ATT fiber?
Yes. You can place the gateway in pass through mode and use the Orbi WiFi Mesh System including the satellite as your router. You can still connect devices to the gateway via ethernet as well.
