How big is the gum tree in front of my house?

How big is the gum tree in front of my house?

We have a large gum tree at the front of our home which is about 3.9 – 4 metres away from the wall of our house. I’d estimate the tree is about 30 – 35 metres tall so its a huge huge tree.

Is it safe to have a gum tree on your property?

During storms, large gum trees could pose great danger to lives and property. There could be a strong possibility that the tree might be hit by lightning and as a result damage your property. Consult an Expert. It can be difficult to decide if the large gum tree in your property should be removed or not.

How tall is the Council ghost gum tree?

All the other trees along there are nice little council trees, then you have this 40m tall ghost gum. It is obviously not meant to be there, and has grown over the last 10-15 yrs or so. Although council don’t think it’s a good idea to have it there, and yes limbs have fallen already, they won’t remove it because it’s a healthy tree.

How big does a river red gum tree get?

1. if the tree is kept healthy it is very unlikely to fall or drop limbs, even river red gums will only do it if water stressed. What a load of crap. A tree branch depending on size can weigh tonns.

Is it safe to plant a gum tree in front of my house?

The also stated replanting of another tree is not applicable. I’m flabbergasted because such a huge tree infront of a small home cannot be safe. The tree is too close to our house so if it falls, we are dead, and its on a busy street so any pedestrians/cars etc can get hit by branches, or even the tree if it falls towards the street.
