Send zuicide Zerglings to deal with the Widow Mines. If you think the Terran might have Widow Mines in the field, always keep 2 Zerglings ahead of your army move path.
Bring 2 Overlords with your army, or send Overlords to where you might think there is a mine or more. (it takes two mines to kill one Overlord)

Do widow mines do Friendly damage?

Widow Mines are not affected by the splash damage of friendly Widow Mines (be it the Widow Mine’s own attack or another) but other friendly units are; the enemy can use fast units to drag the Mine attacks towards the Terran’s army.

Are widow mines invisible?

The Widow Mine is a unit that is built in the Factory. They burrow and act as a proximity mine. When a unit gets too close, the mine shoots a missile at that unit, dealing huge splash damage (even to your own units). Kill it with fire before it gets a change to do damage by focus firing it. If you do come across one that has been burrowed, keep out of its range. The mines’ firing range is 5 game units, compared to 6 of the Stalker, Marauder, and upgraded Hydra. The mine takes 1.5 sec to fire, so fast units can just walk past.
