L&Q is not the same as the council. We’re an independent organisation that works closely with local councils to help house those who need an affordable home. We, like other housing associations, have to obey government rules on housing set by the Regulator of Social Housing.

How is L&Q funded?
We focus on the needs of our existing social housing residents by investing in their homes, local communities and services. For us, this means playing a vital role to build much-needed new homes. Of these homes, 60% will be built or funded by us, whilst a further 40% will come through partnerships.
