Tōsen vibrates his Zanpakutō to release it from Hisagi’s chain and addresses Hisagi, saying that he taught him that those who do not know fear are not fit to do battle. Tōsen reiterates that Hisagi has not changed at all, as there is not even a hint of fear in his words. Hisagi is stabbed by Tōsen.
