Is the pump overrun on glowworms on a timer?
Is the pump overrun on glowworms on a timer?
The pump overrun on Glowworms is on a timer which can be adjusted. Perhaps been set to max (60 mins) factory setting normally 5 mins. If you’re correct and the pump is running 24/7 then my guess is that the wiring is wrong – should be simple to put right.
What to do if your glow worm boiler is not working?
However, if the fan does not come up to speed, you have an ignition fault, anyway. I’d recommend getting a multimeter out and checking your readings from the PCB to the fan. Also, check ignition leads and power from the PCB. The Fix: An engineer will either replace the fan or the PCB.
What is the fault code on a flexicom glow worm boiler?
Fault code F14 (Flexicom CX range) If you were to look at the service manual, you’d find this fault states there’s a defective gas valve. However, check there is power from the PCB to the gas valve. If not, it’s not the gas valve at all, but either the PCB or the wiring harness.
What does F4 mean on a glow worm boiler?
Codes F1 and F4 indicate an ignition fault, however F3 is a fan speed fault. However, if the fan does not come up to speed, you have an ignition fault, anyway. I’d recommend getting a multimeter out and checking your readings from the PCB to the fan. Also, check ignition leads and power from the PCB.
How old is glow worm 30cxi Combi clock?
I have a 12-year-old Glow Worm 30cxi combi powering hot water and central heating. The analogue timer clock packed up recently and would not fire up the central heating either. Assuming it to be a fault with the clock, I got a second hand replacement and fitted it. Clock keeps perfect time, but the heating will not come on or go off on the timer.

Why does my Glow Worm clock not turn on?
Clock keeps perfect time, but the heating will not come on or go off on the timer. Hot water is fine and the heating works perfectly ok if you turn it fully on. Over the years we have had replacement 3-way valves, PCB, etc., and I am worried that this is yet another expensive fault that has nothing to do with the clock!
