It was basically a plug and play and it works perfectly. Our 2005 motorhome came equipped with a Zantrex freedom 458 inverter / charger. It performed flawlessly for 14 years. Unfortunately, due to a faulty 50 amp shore power cable the inverter was fed 220 volts.
