How can I Fix my Riello oil burner?
Parts for Riello burners are harder to find these days. I have been using a pan under the burner to collect the oil and dump it out every couple of weeks. Not a lot of oil but not the safest thing. Well for $32 I fixed the oil leak on my Riello 40 by replacing the hydraulic jack (note it needed the small one). See the video.

Not a lot of oil but not the safest thing. Well for $32 I fixed the oil leak on my Riello 40 by replacing the hydraulic jack (note it needed the small one). See the video. It took me all of two minutes to replace it.

Changing the pump on a Riello Rdb Burner is quite easy to do. I changed this pump on the bench and tested the burner afterwards. All you need is a flat head screw driver a 12 mm spanner a 15 Spanner and a pressure guage so you can set the pump to 8 bar. ……….There are more build videos in my playlists below …………..
Is the Riello oil pump a weak link?
Click to expand… I always think of Riello oil pumps as the weak link in burners. They used to be so much trouble on & off for a few years, that I wanted to avoid fitting anything with Riello burners completely. Now they seem to be lasting a reasonable time.

Pump is factory preset at 146 PSI (10 bar). 1a) LIFT (2 pipe) SYSTEM – The burner is shipped for installation in a two pipe system. See Table A for pipe lengths. Be sure that there are no air leaks or blockages in the piping system.
