Your boiler has “pump overrun” so the pump is connected directly to the boiler. The pump should run for a few minutes after the call for heat has ended. If the pump runs continuously when the boiler is off the overrun control is faulty. You will need a Gas Safe qualified engineer to repair the boiler.

But now with the milder weather, this theory cannot be correct – the pump still runs at midday, with no HW or CH demand and the boiler dial switched OFF.
