After much test riding and reviewing, I choose the Dyna Low Rider. This bike is smooth, great handling and quick. I use the Low Rider to commute every day in high speed and stop-n-go traffic. My one complaint is the stock seat.

With a Top Speed of 120 mph, the New Low Rider S can take off from 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. It is 1 second slower than the quickest all-American motorcycles ever made, the Harley-Davidson, the Livewire (3 seconds). This cruiser with a 1,868 cc engine has an impressive performance.
Is a Dyna Low Rider a good first bike?
Registered. IMHO, a Low Rider will do fine for a first bike. As you said, it fits your size, and while it’s not lighter than a Sportster, it’s got a much lower center of gravity, making it more stable at low speeds, and easier to keep from dropping. Just take it slow, don’t push your envelope too much at any one time.
What’s the difference between Dyna and Softail?
So, what’s the difference between a Dyna and a Softail? The key differences are solid engine mounts on the Softail (which produce less vibration) versus rubbery elastomer mounts on the Dyna (which provide more “character”), and said monotube rear suspension on the Softail versus twin rear shocks on the Dyna.
