Why use recipe 2008 for LCIA?
This report can be used as a recipe to calculate life cycle impact category indicators, and it will also be useful to those individuals who want to obtain in-depth knowledge of LCIA and the underlying rationale. ReCiPe 2008 builds on the Eco- indicator 99 and the CML Handbook on LCA (2002).
What is ReCiPe 2016?
ReCiPe 2016 is an improvement on ReCiPe 2008, and its predecessors CML 2000 and Eco-indicator 99. ReCiPe2016 was developed in collaboration between the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), Radboud University Nijmegen, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and PRé.
