What kind of subwoofer is the Klipsch rw-12d?

I have two other Klipsch subs, an SW-10, RSW-15 and now this RW-12d. This summer I am going to purchase the Palladium P-312W (can’t wait).

Are there any complaints about the rw-12d subwoofer?

The ONLY complaint I have (and I wouldn’t call it a complaint) is that it is a little larger than other subs. That is because the enclosure is designed in such an ingenious way. One of the reasons is sounds so great is the interior of the enclosure.

Which is better RW 10 or RW 12D?

Switching to the RW-12D from the Rw-10 was a total disaster. The rw-12d does certainly have more power and a stronger driver but fails miserably on the enclosure. I have owned both the RW-10 and the RW-12 (the previous RW series) and was very happy with them. One knock on the wood of the RW-12d and the truth comes out.
