If just one (or a few) of your radiators aren’t heating up, the most common reason for this is trapped air. If you’ve just turned the heating back on after the summer, air can become trapped in your radiators, causing them to be warm at the bottom but cold at the top. I have a 3bd house, there are 4 radiators upstairs and 4 downstairs. How are the upstair radiators connected to the boiler?
Upstairs had water line in, valve is open. Two radiators are connected to each other, sitting side by side. Air has been bled out of them. Expansion tank is metal and in the basement rafters above the boiler. The two lines going to the upstair radiators are at the very end of the system, about 6-8 feet from the circulation pump.

This helps prevent the build-up of limescale which can cause damage to the pipe joints, clog up the central heating pump and, together with some rust, cause a layer of ‘silt’ to build up inside radiators. All of these make the central heating less efficient, which may mean your boiler and pump are working harder than they need to.

What to do if your radiators dont work?
If they are then you made have an air lock. just get a proper tradesman in to sort it> What I suggest you do is shut off all the radiators that are working. This will then send all the pumped water to those that dont work, this may cure the problem and the air will be forced out.
Why are 2 out of 7 radiators Stone Cold?
3 rads + 1 ladder upstairs. I’ve bled all the radiators and made sure all the valves are open (no thermostats on radiators). The two biggest radiators (lounge and hallway) are stone cold and as a result the house isn’t that warm and we’re topping up the lounge with an electric oil filled heater.
