Why does my Denon CD player not play music?

I’ve recently bought this tuner but i’m having some problems with the cd player.It plays bought cds well but it’s the cds I burn myself that is the problem. When i burn music from the internet onto a blank maxell cd-r I play it to check it’s ok and it usually is.
